Golden Light!
The change of season always provides a beautiful opportunity to slow down and acknowledge exactly where we're at.
The cardigans, beanies, flannelette sheets and fav crochet blankets have been adorning our place for a few weeks now; we've been devouring slow cooked meals, nourishing soups and the occasional sip of red wine AND there's nothing like time around a fire to invite introspection and an opportunity to slow right down.
Of course, this will all depend on where you are in the world. Not everyone is rugged up. Some of you may be enjoying some tropical heat or planning a summer vacation.
Regardless, I still find it important to share the magnificence of finding a pace that works for YOU and a winter reminder really helps with that!
Can you take some time to slow down, to truly settle into whatever it is you need in this moment?
Are you finding yourself rushing to a ‘What's next?’
Have you piled on the jackets and continued to march towards a finish goal that isn't really there or maybe just needs a little more time and space?
It can be so frustrating being told to relax when you really are just trying your best to do all the things! Winter reminds us that the pause is temporary - we all need rest - it's inevitable for growth.
I hope you can take some time to snuggle deeper into whatever it is that you need. Gently acknowledging exactly where you're at and even trusting that this space is indeed exactly where you need to be!
